In 2009, during his tenure at Yahoo! and MySpace in London, Kanye West hailed Roberto as his favorite artist. This acclaim coincided with Roberto's burgeoning exhibition presence across Europe and accolades in New York and London, including the Ashurst Art Prize. His artistic journey was academically recognized in 2018 with a thesis at the University of Urbino, Italy. In 2021, Roberto's collaboration with Franz Kirmann on the BAFTA-winning documentary "Locked-In Breaking the Silence" highlighted his multifaceted talent. His works have been showcased in Italy, the UK, and the USA.

ABOUT
A PORTRAIT OF LOCKDOWN
During the lockdown in 2020 I was in London, trying to figure out a way to help the NHS. This documentary, directed by Joe Pomeroy, tells that story and the stories of other artists in the same situation.
In 2018, I was honored to be the focus of a thesis by Maria Giulia Briganti, a fine arts student at the University of Urbino, Raphael's alma mater. I attended the university to celebrate this milestone, where Giulia incorporated one of my augmented paintings into her thesis, in the presence of faculty and students.
